I like this shot, very minimal, yet has a lot of detail. I can agree with some of the other commenters when I say that the glass could have been lit more, but the way you have it doesn't really detract from the scene. Well done. :)

I think the lighting is a little too dark, but I really like the lipstick mark and the atmosphere it gives :)

Thats sooooo good.

I love the idea and the lipstick mark, too.

One of your best - It should be used in an advert.

I like the concept a lot, especially the lipstick. the lighting.. hmm.. wishing I could see the whole outline of the glass, you know? --but still keep the black background. maybe a flashlight would do the trick.. I dunno. Nice job :-)

i like it... the lips are a special little touch, almost like the glass is telling a little story. it's a bit too dark, maybe... but other than that a really great idea!

Awesome concept and such nice colours!

About the lighting; I think it's a bit too dark, I think it'd be a bit better if the glass was more illuminated or something.

i thought it was too dark too when i was shooting it, but then i liked the way it looked, so i left it like that

I like it, can you explain how you setup the light
Reply
:icongonzom:
gONZOm Featured By Owner Aug 9, 2006
wow, i feel somehow flattered, sure ill explain you

i always use a strong light(one source only), i use a lamp, (but dont know what type) and high speed shutter
i try to use open spaces so everything else is dark

anything else, ask me

I like it I was going to ask, if you just used a dark area with a focused light, or did you do any editing to blacken it..??

:icongonzom:
gONZOm Featured By Owner Aug 9, 2006
if you want me to, i can send you the original one...

i used a focused light on a dark area, and then i did some minor adjustments in photoshop, levels, and some color balance...
